Add/Update — What It Does
Add/Update is used when you want to add new products or update only the specific products you upload without affecting any other existing products in your account.
How it works
- Only the SKUs included in your uploaded sheet will be added or updated.
- All fields for each SKU must be included in the sheet, just like a normal upload.
If a field is not included for a SKU you’re updating, that field will be cleared/blanked out during the update.
- SKUs not included in the upload remain completely unchanged.
When to use it
- Adding new SKUs.
- Updating specific SKUs without touching others.
- Safe when you want to change a subset of products.
Replace All — What It Does
Replace All completely overwrites your entire product catalog.
How it works
- All existing products in your account are deleted.
- Only the SKUs in your uploaded sheet will exist after the upload.
- Any products not in the sheet will be removed.
When to use it
- When you want to rebuild your entire product list from scratch.
- When you want full replacement rather than selective updates.
